Painted Echeveria

Echeveria nodulosa

This stunning succulent may be hard to pronounce (some say ek-e-ve’-ri-a others say ech-e-ver’-i-a) but easy to grow. With its leaves of absinthe green with vivid red margins this waterwise succulent provides year-round interest. Hummingbirds love its coral pink and yellow flowers borne on two foot tall bracts. Thrives in dry, sandy soil. Slow growing.

You should include hardiness in your notifications. So what is the hardiness and what are watering requirements?

What low temperature can this plant take?

Hello Bobbie,
The grower claims it is hardy to 20°F to 30°F. To us this means you should protect at 30°F or below, even though it might be okay down to 20°F.
