Garvinea Gerbera

Garvinea Garden Gerbera is a unique series of robust, long-lived, blooming garden perennials. With a high resistance to pests and diseases, it flowers continuously from Spring until the first frost.
In a warm Tucson winter it may flower year-round. Personal experience has shown this to be a remarkable plant. Bushy and evergreen it always looks healthy.  Add an almost continuous show of colorful 2” flowers on 10” stems that sit above the plants and you have a winner. Provide light shade in the heat of summer and full sun other times, water, and sit back and enjoy this plant’s beauty.

  • When you feature a plant like this, and others as well, please include its water needs. I have mostly xeriscape areas and would like to know plants’ water needs.
    Thx. Bobbie
